GOLF'S BIG HITTERS TEE IT UP TO SEE WHO'S THE LONGEST

FusionExcel International will host local qualifying events for the 2008 FusionExcel Long Drive Challenge from the 18th October 2008 through until the final on the 05th November 2008.

All golfers are invited to compete in the premier event in power golf. Qualifying begins at 9:00am and concludes at 7:00pm each day.

Competition will take place in four adult divisions -- open, women, senior (45-54) and junior (18 and below). Entry fee are RM 50 for all divisions.

Golfers hit six drives per entry, with their longest official drive determining their place in the final standings.

Top finishers advance to the Grand Final on the 05th November 2008 at Saujana Golf and Country Club, Malaysia.

"We are excited to be part of organizing this hugely popular international event," said Paul Ting, CEO and Founder of FusionExcel International.  "We are starting at the grass roots level so everyone is eligible to enter. We are hoping someone from our area makes it all the way to the REMAX World Finals next year. We have plenty of big hitters here in Malaysia, so I think we'll have a chance to send someone to the show. We will see."
